This caudiciform vine can develop a tuber up to 2 feet in diameter in habitat. Semi-deciduous, it thrives with regular water in summer and bright, indirect light. To reduce the risk of rot in winter, keep on the dry side, potted in a porous soil mix. Protect from frost.
